Martin M. Shenkman, CPA, MBA, PFS, AEP, JD is an attorney in private practice in Paramus, New Jersey and New York City who concentrates on estate and closely held business planning, tax planning, and estate administration. He is the author of more than 40 books and 800 articles. In addition to authoring his amazing Heckerling notes for LISI, he is a co-author with Jonathan Blattmachr and Robert Keebler of 2012 Estate Planning: Tax Planning Steps to Take.

Thomas Tietz, JD, is an Associate with Shenkman Law. He has lectured at the Notre Dame Tax & Estate Planning Institute, for the NJSBA and New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education, and the National Academy of Continuing Legal Education. He has published articles in the American Bar Association E-Report, Wealthmanagement.com and Trusts & Estate Magazine.
